Carnival Opera Gallery is an online exhibition space and home gallery dedicated to the strange, eccentric, and beautiful fringes of the contemporary art world. Breaking traditional gallery rules, Carnival Opera showcases a loose, fun, and spectacular collection of outsider, folk, self-taught, and wonderfully odd art. Connecting visionary artists sitting outside the mainstream with adventurous collectors who crave the unconventional.

Aunia Kahn and Michael de Vena have been art collectors and art dealers for over 20 years, gathering a wide variety of artwork from around the world. Their collection spans high-end contemporary art, abstraction, folk, outsider, new contemporary, and magical realism, alongside original art found at local craft fairs and thrift stores.

Their home is a living art installation and wonderland where every wall, shelf, and corner holds something handmade. Paintings hang salon-style from floor to ceiling in every room, oddities mingle with fine art, and nothing is too humble or too strange to earn a place.

Carnival Opera Gallery opens that world to others. Their home holds a large exhibition space where they sell and exhibit artwork from the visionary artists they champion. All artwork is either sold from their home gallery or from the studios of the artists they work with.

Aunia Kahn and Michael de Vena also own Poetic Tiger Gallery and Anthology Gallery where they sell and showcase other genres of artwork with the world.
